Many poker players often wonder how to bluff well when playing Texas Hold em or any other variant of poker. The aim is to read any ҴellsҠyour opponents may be giving away. However you will face difficulties if you are not very good at reading tells or if you are playing against new players you do not know. Despair not- read on for help!

Rule # 1: Be aware of the kinds of players you are playing against:

Always bear in mind that the objective of your bluff is to get your opponents to fold so that you can take the pot. It is best to bluff those players who play ҴightҮ Loose players will just call your bluff.

Rule # 2: Adapt your bluff to each situation:

Rule # 3: Do not bluff lots of players:

  • You are playing amongst tight players

    • Bluff less if:

  • You are in a tournament and at the early stages
  • You are plying in free rolls
  • Many players are in the pot
  • You are playing low stakes, pot limit or limit Hold Em.
  • You are playing on the internet
  • You are playing with loose players.
